New Source Review Update (November 1, 2018):
TCEQ has released several new tools for use when preparing and submitting NSR applications, including
- NSR Application Workbook – an interactive guide through the NSR evaluation process. Three versions are available based on the number of emission units involved. Once completed, the workbook can be submitted electronically to the Air Permits Initial Review Team. The workbook replaces Form PI-1 and Tables 1(a) and 30 and will be required starting June 1, 2019.
- Electronic Modeling Evaluation Workbooks (EMEW) – presents the project Air Quality Analysis (AQA) in accordance with the initial modeling summary requirement for minor NSR permit applications as of October 1, 2018. Two versions available depending on the dispersion modeling software used. The workbook will be required starting June 1, 2019.
- Paint Emission Calculation and Impacts Analysis Spreadsheet – streamlines emissions calculations for surface coating operations based on coating line configuration. The workbook will be required starting January 1, 2019.
State of Texas Electronic Emissions Reporting System Data Review (November 5, 2018):
The 2018 Annual Emissions Inventory Report (AEIR) will be due March 31, 2019. Notification letters will be mailed to the contact on file in the system. Review contact information prior to December 31, 2018 to make sure you receive all agency notifications.
Tier II Chemical Inventory Reports:
Tier II reports for 2018 will be due by March 1, 2019 and must be submitted through the Tier2 Submit software.
