Sandra P. Alvarado, P.E.


Sandra Alvarado has 20 years of experience in the chemical engineering and environmental compliance field.  She began her career as a process engineer at a municipal water treatment plant and then transitioned into a compliance engineer position with the Air Protection Branch of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division.  Ms. Alvarado has prepared permitting applications, regulatory applicability determinations, and compliance report documentation and notifications for facilities across the country.  She has provided on-site and off-site air quality support, conducted multiday multimedia compliance audits, prepared numerous emissions inventories and managed performance testing from scheduling to monitoring plan development and test results reporting.  She has also assisted with the preparation of several NESHAP Risk and Technology Review (RTR) surveys and EPA Information Collection Requests (ICR).
