Melissa Spitzmiller

Project Engineer

Melissa is an experienced environmental engineer with excellent technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.  She has a B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech (High Honors) and M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from UCLA.  Nearly four years’ experience in the consulting industry working with aerospace, chemical, and oil and gas clients specializing in the remediation of soils and groundwater contaminated with petroleum and chlorinated solvents.  Previous experience working in the laboratory setting conducting research in the fields of molecular biology and ecotoxicology.  Melissa is currently an E.I.T. awaiting the opportunity for a final element of P.E. certification. She is also and Envision Sustainability Professional.
