Ted R. Peyser, President
Ted Peyser has 25 years of environmental compliance management experience at the plant and corporate levels. Prior to founding EPS, Ted established and directed environmental programs for several Fortune 100 corporations. A Chemical Engineer by training, he brings to his clients not only technical sophistication, but also a deep understanding of how business and industry works. He has represented industry by serving on a national committee in Washington, D.C. Ted has a strong regulatory background and a track record of success in resolving conflicts with state and federal agencies on terms favorable to industrial clients. He is a true advocate of industry.
Kirk D. Drucker, Vice President
Kirk Drucker joined EPS in 1998. Prior to joining EPS, Kirk served as a division chief of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division Air Branch where he regulated VOC-emitting industrial sources in Georgia. As an air quality consultant, he has completed hundreds of SIP / Title V / synthetic minor operating permit applications for various industrial clients all across the country. Kirk conducts numerous audits and creates compliance programs for his clients. He is experienced with ozone non-attainment issues and maintains a detailed working knowledge of the air quality rules and regulations affecting industry. Kirk’s proven Air Records Management Systems (ARMS) are used by numerous facilities.
Kirk J. Kessler, P.G., Vice President
Kirk Kessler has over 22 years of environmental site assessment and remediation consulting experience. He has worked on more than 30 projects on EPA’s National Priorities List in nearly every EPA Region, representing single and multiple Responsible Party industrial clients. These projects have included closed chemical and other manufacturing facilities, abandoned industrial landfills, recycling facilities, pesticide manufacturing, and coal tar/wood treating facilities. One of the most notable of these projects is the LCP Chemicals Superfund Site, where Kirk has served as the Project Manager and Technical Director since the first CERCLA response action in 1994. He has particular expertise in mercury transport and fate, and in this capacity Kirk has served as a Technical Advisor to the British Columbia Ministry of Environment.
Thomas P. Sweat, P.E., Associate
Tommy Sweat has 13 years of experience in air quality permitting and compliance. He has expertise in ozone non-attainment issues, Title V, NESHAPs, PSD/NSR, and EPCRA reporting. He has performed compliance audits, regulatory impact assessments, pollution prevention studies, and control technology determinations. He has directed the preparation of numerous construction and operating air permit applications and has designed complex database systems for tracking emissions data. He is a registered professional engineer in Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Tennessee. Tommy was 2006 chair of the Georgia Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association.
